摘要： A pants pressing steam apparatus, includes a base having a pair of cylindrical stanchions each supporting a wheel thereon and each stanchion having a cantilevered arm supporting a wheel on their distal end and a support extending vertically from one end of the base with a pair of apertures therein with each having a wheel positioned thereover. A cantilevered top base is fixedly attached to the top surface of the support and a pair of wheels is fastened to one end of the top base substantially co-linear with the support wheels with a framework pressing plate extending longitudinally along the top base and forming an integral part therewith. A vacuum valve and a steam release valve are fixed to one end of the framework pressing plate. A pair of foot pedals are positioned approximate the base with each foot pedal having a length of line fastened thereto extending across the stanchion wheels through a respective support aperture and guide wheels to a respective top base wheel terminating at a respective vacuum valve and steam release valve.

摘要： A steam treatment system (10) for textiles can include a detachable hanger (14) which is removably attachable to a steam unit (12). The steam unit (12) can include a vaporizing element (16) which is operatively connectable to a water source (18) and is designed to produce steam. A steam outlet (20) with a shut-off valve (22) can also be part of the steam unit (12). The detachable hanger (14) can be configured to support an article of textile such as a shirt, suit, dress, slacks, towel or the like. More particularly, the hanger (14) can include a support body enclosing a steam chamber (24) and a steam inlet (26) which is removably attachable to the steam outlet (20) of the steam unit (12). In this manner the detachable hanger (14) can be removably coupled to the steam unit (12) to allow steam to fill the hanger (14). The support body can also include a plurality of steam vents or apertures (30) which are oriented to transmit steam from the steam chamber (24) to the article of textile supported thereon. Such a steam treatment system (10) can find effective application in homes and service oriented businesses such as hotels and gyms.

摘要： A steam press for pressing fabric wherein a movable upper member (52) is disposed above a stationary lower member (50) and the press has open and closed positions at which the movable upper member (52) is respectively spaced from or engages the lower member (50). A direct current motor (2) has a drive shaft which rotates in one direction when a direct voltage of selected polarity is applied to the motor (2) and which rotates in opposite direction when the polarity of the applied voltage is reversed. The drive shaft is coupled to the piston (16) to move the piston (16) longitudinally in the pump body (9) in one selected direction to draw water out of the reservoir (1) into the pump body (9) when the shaft rotates in one selected direction and to move the piston (16) longitudinally in the pump body (9) in the other direction to force water out of the pump body (9) into the inlet water port (56) in the upper member (52) when the shaft rotates in the other direction. A direct voltage of one polarity is supplied to the motor to cause water to be drawn out of the reservoir (1) into the pump body (9) and then is supplied with reversed polarity to force water out of the pump body (9) into the inlet water port (56).
