摘要： Novel blue dyes which can be prepared without using dianisidine compounds as the raw material, exhibit high color values, and are excellent in build-up properties and various fastnesses and suitable for dyeing cellulosic polymer materials; methods of dyeing cellulosic polymer materials with the same; and cellulosic polymer materials dyed therewith. The above blue dyes are formazane compounds represented by general formula (1) or salts thereof: wherein R1 is hydrogen, a sulfonic acid group, hydroxyl, chloro, methoxy, carbonyl or alkyl; either of R2 and R3 is hydrogen and the other thereof is a sulfonic acid group; X is morpholino, 2-hydroxyethylamino or bis(2-hydroxyethyl)amino; and Y is a group represented by general formula (2) (wherein R4 is a sulfonic acid group or carboxyl).
