Der Läufer weist wenigstens eine Läuferspule auf, in welcher aufgrund des magnetischen Wechselfelds eine Wechselspannung induzierbar ist. Das Planarantriebssystem ist ausgebildet zur Datenübertragung von dem Stator zu dem Läufer, indem der Stator ausgebildet ist zum zeitweisen Beeinflussen des Bestromens von Statorleitern, um dadurch zeitweise eine Veränderung in Bezug auf die in der wenigstens einen Läuferspule des Läufers induzierbare Wechselspannung hervorzurufen. Die Erfindung betrifft des Weiteren ein Verfahren zum Betreiben eines Planarantriebssystems.
