A tab 122, 222 is provided between the first and second handle portions, in a first configuration the tab being engaged with one or both handle portions and extending through the space between the handle portions to substantially prevent movement of the first handle portion towards the second handle portion, and in a second configuration the tab being disengaged from the first handle portion and/or the second handle portion to allow movement of the first handle portion for operating the container valve during use.

摘要： An aerosol can spray gun that accepts a top (89) of an aerosol spray can (26). The spray gun includes an integral motorized fan (74) or a pressurized air source. When the trigger (14) on the spray gun is depressed the aerosol spray can dispensing cap is depressed and simultaneously the fan pushes air out through nozzles (86) in the front of the spray gun to control the spray fan pattern. A tab on the cap ensures that the nozzle on the can is oriented forward. Optionally, the air nozzles (86) in the front of the spray gun can adjust the fan pattern between horizontal and vertical.

摘要： The actuator includes a shroud adapted to be situated on an aerosol container over the stem and an actuation member mounted on and moveable within the shroud to depress the stem by the application of an external force applied to the top surface of the actuation member. The actuation member includes a nozzle and a conduit for connecting the stem and the nozzle. A hood is normally positioned to block the actuation member from being moved to depress the stem. A locking member normally intersects the path of movement of the hood to lock the hood in its blocking position. The locking member has two sections both of which must be simultaneously moved to a position remote from the path of hood movement such that the hood may be moved from its blocking position, allowing the actuation member to be moved to depress the stem.
