    • A method and apparatus for transporting bulk products is shown. At least one example of an apparatus for transporting bulk products as disclosed herein comprises the following: a liner having a top panel, a bottom panel, two sidewalls, a front panel, and a back panel or at least a back panel, partial two sidewalls, and partial bottom panel; a first strap, wherein the first strap is partially attached to each of the sidewalls and to the back panel so that the first strap has a first pair of diagonal sections, said first pair of diagonal sections comprising a first diagonal section suspended between a first sidewall and the back panel and a second diagonal section suspended between a second sidewall and the back panel; and a second strap, wherein the second strap is partially attached to each of the sidewalls and to the back panel, wherein at least one overlapping region of the second strap overlaps an overlapping region of the first strap. The apparatus may further include a third, fourth, fifth or sixth strap that is partially attached to each of the sidewalls and to the back panel similar to the first strap and the second strap.

    • Multi-walled paper sacks for powder products, notably plaster, have a porous paper inner wall surrounded by a paper outer wall and a vapour barrier separate from the paper inner wall. The vapour barrier may be a coating on the inside face of the outer paper wall. Perforations through the vapour barrier are substantially confined to either or both of the broad faces of the sack. During filling of the sacks air is able to vent through the inner wall and then through the perforations in the vapour barrier, allowing filling by high speed machinery. Deterioration of the product as a result of moisture perforation is unexpectedly just as good, and sometimes superior, to that encountered with alternative sacks. Consequently the improvement in filling is not encumbered by a reduction in shelf life of the product.

    • A sealant film for use in a film structure for the manufacture of pouches and bags for containing flowable materials, the sealant film comprising 1) from about 2.0 to about 9.5 wt %, based on 100 wt % total composition, of an ethylene C 4 -C 10 -alpha-olefin interpolymer having a density of from 0.850 to 0.890 g/cc and a melt index of 0.3 to 5 g/10min, the interpolymer being present in an amount that optimizes flex crack resistance as measured using a Gelbo Flex tester set up to test in accordance with ASTM F392, and minimizes reduction of thermal resistance, as measured using DSC (ASTM E794/E793) Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) which determines temperature and heat flow associated with material transitions as a function of time and temperature, and stiffness of the sealant film layer as measured using Tensile Modulus of the polyethylene films measured in accordance with ASTM Method D882; 2) from about 70.5 wt % to about 98.0 wt %, based on 100 wt % total composition, of one or more polymers selected from ethylene homopolymers and ethylene C 4 -C 10 -alpha-olefin interpolymers, having a density between 0.915 g/cc and 0.935 g/cc and a melt index of 0.2 to 2 g/10min; 3) from about 0 wt % to about 20.0 wt %, based on 100 wt% total composition, of processing additives selected from slip agents, antiblock agents, colourants and processing aids; and the sealant film has a thickness of from about 2 to about 60 µm.
