摘要： A method for producing a porous body having high porosity comprising the steps of applying an adhesive to a synthetic resin foam, which constitutes a base body, such as urethane foam having a three-dimensional net structure so as to impart stickiness to the surface of the resin foam, applying powder such as copper oxide to the resin foam, and fire the resin foam so as to remove the base body and sinter the powder for producing a porous body to which the pattern of the base body is transferred. With the method, it is possible to produce a porous body having great strength without limitation in selection of material by suitably selecting powder.

摘要： A porous metallic body that has a three-dimensional reticular skeleton structure wholly constituted of a powdery metallic sinter with a porosity of 10-60 % and that has a total porosity of 80-99 %. The specific surface are thereof is as large as, for example, 300-11,000 cm /cm . This body can be reinforced with reinforcing plates and is suitable as an electrode of an alkaline secondary battery capable of attaining a long service life and a large capacity of active materials which can be contained. The metallic body is produced by molding a foamable slurry containing a metallic powder, drying the molded slurry preferably after foaming, and sintering the same.

摘要： The invention relates to a rotor for a rotary screw machine having helical lobes (12) and grooves (14). According to the invention a shell structure (18) forming the external surface of the rotor is made of pressed metal powder. The rotor is manufactured by cold isostatic pressing of a powder in a vessel having a surface shaping the rotor. The pressure is applied radially by means of a cast bag in which high pressure liquid acts. After the pressing process the rotor blank is sintered and attached to a shaft (16).

摘要： The nozzle having a plurality of channels is particularly appropriate as a burner nozzle for welding apparatuses, cutting torches or heating burners. The nozzle (26') is obtained first by compression of a mixture of metal powders about mandrels used for forming the channels. The body of the nozzle is then sintered. In order to obtain smooth walls for the channels, the cross-section area is reduced after sintering, and during this reduction sizing mandrels (35, 36, 37, 38, 39) are inserted into the channels. To obtain the reduction of the cross-section area, the sintered bodies (26) are pressed through a reduction die (28) having a bore (34) comprising a reduction section (34b). During the reduction of the cross-section area, the material is pressed under the effect of the decrease of volume of the pores and is configured to the shape of the sizing mandrels (35 to 39). The manufacture with the use of powders allows to obtain an optimum shape for the channels from the point of view of the flow. The channels may be very thin. The waste ratio is substantially lower than that obtained with the manufacturing process currently used wherein the channels are obtained by boring.
