Nozzles are also described with flexible divider walls (320) whereby thickness of the flowing sheets may be varied by altering relative flow pressures.

    • In a spray nozzle intended for applying colourants or the like to a model surface or to precisely meter liquids applied to a product, the nozzle (6) of the jet is stopped by a needle (7, 18, 28) actuated by a magnetic system (10, 20, 11, 21). To this effect, the needle (7, 18, 28) traverses the magnetic system (10, 20, 11, 21) and is connected, above this magnetic system, to another membrane (26) which defines an upper space (29) containing colourant and which is connected to the second space (19) containing colourant. Washers (33, 34) for supporting membrane are provided to guide the needle (7, 18, 28) inside the space closed by the membrane (16, 26).
