摘要： A feminine hygiene pad having an absorbent structure is disclosed. The absorbent structure may have a plurality of central compression zones disposed in a middle region of the pad, each of the plurality of compression zones being defined by a generally longitudinally-oriented shape having a forward terminus proximate a forward end region of the pad and a rearward terminus proximate a rearward end region of the pad, and an average width between the forward terminus and rearward terminus of 0.5 mm to 2.0 mm, wherein each of the forward terminus and rearward terminus lies no more than 30 percent of the length of the pad, from the lateral axis.

摘要： An absorbent article comprising a liquid pervious topsheet (300), a liquid impervious backsheet (200), absorbent material positioned between the liquid pervious topsheet and the liquid impervious backsheet, and a capillary acceleration sheet (400) and/or a top core wrap between the absorbent material and the liquid pervious topsheet, wherein the absorbent material, typically comprising superabsorbent particles and optionally cellulosic fluff pulp, is arranged on a bottom core wrap such that one or more channels are formed, wherein less absorbent material per surface area is present in the one or more channels compared to an area around the one or more channels, wherein preferably substantially no absorbent material is present in the one or more channels, wherein the bottom core wrap is attached to the top core wrap and/or the capillary acceleration sheet in one or more permanent attachment zones in the respective one or more channels; each permanent attachment zone including all permanent attachment portions within the respective channel; wherein, seen in a transverse direction of the absorbent core, an average width (wb) of each permanent attachment zone is less than 90% of an average width (wc) of the corresponding channel and more than 25% of the average width (wc) of the corresponding channel; and/or wherein, seen in a longitudinal direction of the absorbent core, an average length (lb) of each permanent attachment zone is less than 99% of an average length (lc) of the corresponding channel and more than 50% of the average length (lc) of the corresponding channel.
