摘要： Disclosed is a tool and an associated method for removing a prosthetic implant. Although the tool can be used to remove a variety of different prosthetic implants, it finds particular application in the removal of femoral implants. In one embodiment, both lateral and medial tools are utilized. The lateral tool includes a generally arcuate shape with upstanding sidewalls that define an arcuate interior. The lateral tool is thus dimensioned to follow the contour of the lateral side of a femoral implant. The medial tool includes opposing side walls that define an interior opening. The opening is sized to receive the neck of the femoral implant, thereby allowing the tool to closely follow the medial bone/implant interface.

摘要： The present invention comprises a device and system for delivering implantable bodies for anchoring human tissue and bony anatomy. The system may comprise a housing with a handle, an advancement mechanism, a hollow shaft, and a plurality of implant bodies. The present invention also describes a fixation device, such as a dart, staple, screw, or rivet so that the housing includes a handle comprising a lever or trigger for advancing implants, and optionally comprising a second lever or trigger for a second operation. The surgical device may also include an impacting mechanism and a manual advancing mechanism for advancing an elongated body into and through bone, with an optionally reverse setting which changes the direction to retract the elongated body. The invention further includes methods for using the surgical device.

In general, a surgical impacting tool (100) includes a locking assembly (500) configured to releasably attach to an adapter (300). 摘要： A system for endoscopic surgery, comprising a first robotic arm defining the pose of an endoscopic camera, a second robotic arm defining the pose of a surgical end effector, and an irrigation nozzle configured to inject fluid under a predetermined pressure into a preselected tissue region, to generate a cavity at a surgical site. The cavity enables the camera to take images of the features of the surgical site. A controller is used to control both robotic arms, such that the pose of the endoscopic camera and the pose of the surgical end effector are known to the controller. The camera can then acquire intraoperative images of the cavity, such that an endoscopic operation can be performed in the cavity with the surgical end effector guided using the intraoperative images. Anatomic features imaged intraoperatively by the camera can be identified from preoperative images, using image registration.
