In some embodiments, web adjusters, such as tilt-lock web adjusters, can include web gripping features on an edge portion of a web aperture to prevent a web that is joined to the web adjuster from sliding or otherwise moving to one side of the web aperture or the other when the web is pulled in a direction that is not perpendicular to the edge. In some embodiments, the web gripping features can include alternating recessed and raised edge portions.

摘要： A buckle according to the present invention has two opposing ends that are removably attached to each other using a locking system. On one end of the buckle, the locking system includes two opposing locking pins coupled together by a spring that is fully enclosed and protected from external elements. On the other end, corresponding rivets or pin casings with plungers are operable to receive the pins and lock the two ends together or push the pins out of the casings to release the buckle. The buckle may also include a plug that is removably attached to the adjustable loop end and allows the central bar of the adjustable loop end to be removed without deforming the central bar. Alternatively, each end of the buckle may include self-aligning tabs that guide the ends of the buckle for fastening and aid in the stability of the buckle.

摘要： In the present invention, a lightweight apparatus for secure transport of cargo in cargo compartments, such as those found in trucks and freight trains, is provided. The ratchet buckle has a front reel which receives a cargo strap. The light weight of the ratchet buckle is achieved by the use of a dual purpose detachable ratcheting lever or wrench. The wrench has a wrench head which engages the front reel to tighten the ratchet buckle. The wrench also has a release end which engages a release hole in the ratchet buckle, to disengage the ratcheting mechanism and allow removal of the cargo strap. Additional purposes and advantages are provided herein.
