摘要： The rule-type cutting machine comprises a cutting die arranged in a top support panel (5) and a bottom panel. The support panel (5) is designed so as to be removed from the machine for replacement purposes. The replacement cutting die supported in another previously prepared support panel (5) is arranged on the lower guides (19) of an adjusting table (14). The adjusting table (14) faces the guides (4) which support in the machine the support panel (5) to be exchanged. The latter is removed from the machine so as to be placed on the higher guides (19) of the adjusting table (14). The adjusting table pivots by 180 and the replacement cutting die is pushed on the guides (4) provided in the cutting station.

摘要： The apparatus comprises a pair of rotatable devices (9, 11) each holding a plurality of metal shaping and/or cutting rollers (17, 19; 127), the rollers of one device meshing with rollers of the other device to produce specific designs or widths of material. This is made possible by merely selecting suitable rollers of both sets and when production of a specific metallic section or desired widths are terminated, other rollers are selected by rotating the rotatable devices, if another metallic section or widths are desired. When suitable rollers (17, 19; 127) have been selected they are locked in operating position and the operation is allowed to proceed by feeding metal strip to the machine. When another design or widths are required, the devices are unlocked, a selection is made, and the devices are again locked to produce the new metallic section or widths of material.

摘要： A rotary die-cutter having a planetary configuration for die-cutting paper products such as corrugated and solid-fiber paper board includes a frame in which is mounted a rotatable turret assembly. Rotatably attached to the turret assembly is a first die-cutting cylinder, a second die-cutting cylinder, and an anvil. Various tools or forms are detachably mounted to the exterior of the first and second die-cutting cylinders to cut, score, or crease paper box packaging materials. Each die-cutting cylinder is either in an operational position or a set-up position depending on the orientation of the turret assembly. In order to change the tools or forms of a die-cutting cylinder, the turret assembly is rotated such that the operational die-cutting cylinder moves to the set-up position, while the die-cutting cylinder in the set-up position simultaneously moves to the operational position. The die-cutter permits an operator to remove the die from the previous order and mount the die for the next order on the die-cutting cylinder that is in the set-up position, while the operational die-cutting cylinder is in the process of die-cutting. As a result, order changes on the die-cutter can be achieved with very little downtime as the turret assembly pivotally rotates the die-cutting cylinders into position.
