    • A hole saw (200) comprises a cup (202) with two cutting teeth (204) positioned on the open end of the cup (202). The two cutting teeth (204) are substantially diametrically opposed to one another to provide a balanced cutting engagement of the media and are spaced apart by a chord length of between about 45 and 180 degrees. A pair of secondary gullets (207) are positioned in the cup (202) proximate to a forward cutting edge (206) of the two cutting teeth (204). The secondary gullets (207) have a predetermined depth and shape along a longitudinal axis of the cup (202) to suitably remove debris from the cup (202) during a portion of the duration of the hole cut. A plurality of raker teeth (212) may be positioned on the chords defining the spacing between the cutting teeth (204). The raker teeth (212) are disposed below the cutting teeth (204), approximately 0.030 inches to engage and move cutting debris formed by the cutting teeth (204).

    • A plug ejecting hole saw (20) includes a saw cup (22) having cutting teeth (39) at a front annular edge wall (40) thereof and a rear circular base wall (37) having therethrough a concentric, non-circular aperture (41). An arbor holder (21) removably attachable to saw cup (22) includes a collar (45) longitudinally slidably holding therewithin a central body (50) having a front nose piece (61) protruding forward of the collar, which has a transverse cross-sectional shape adapted to be insertably received into saw cup aperture (41). Nose piece (61) of the arbor holder (21) has through its length a coaxial bore (25) provided with internal left-hand threads which receive an arbor (23) having left-hand external threads (28), a rear shank portion (34) adapted to be clamped in a drill chuck, and a front collet flange (29) for clampingly receiving the shank (30) of a pilot drill (24). Rotating saw (20) in a clockwise sense to cut a hole (C) in a workpiece (D) forms a plug (E) lodged within the saw cup (22); reversing the drill with the saw cup cocked in the workpiece hole causes arbor (23) to threadingly advance forward from base (37) of the saw cup, causing collet flange (29) to advance and eject the plug from the saw cup.

    • The hole saw slug removal device (10) is a device constructed to fit within a hole saw (12) that provides for automatic ejection of waste slugs from within the hole saw. The hole saw slug removal device (10) generally consists of two discs (22, 24) affixed on either end of a compression spring (20). The device (10) is then inserted into the hole saw, and one disc (24) retains the compression spring within the hole saw by locking onto the drill bit (30) or against the inner surface of the hole saw (12). Upon operation of the hole saw, the spring compresses and the other disc (22) is pushed down by the force of the sawing. After the sawing is completed, the spring decompresses, and the disc (22) is pushed forward, automatically ejecting the waste slug that has become trapped. The slug removal device may lack one disc and instead be permanently affixed to a hole saw.

    • A cutting tool having spaced elongate teeth. The tool facilitates 1) the removal of cut particles from the surface to be cut thereby enabling efficient cutting particularly of deeper holes; 2) the removal of the center cut out portion from the cutting too.
