摘要： The invention relates to a liquid distributor for an evaporator, particularly meant for a film evaporator treating liquid suspensions containing solids. The distributor comprises a channel array (3, 4) that distributes the liquid (8) fed in at the sides of the evaporator to the top of the heat transfer surface (5), over the whole width thereof. The channel array is formed of at least one transversal supply channel (3) and of a number of distribution channels (4) departing downwards from the supply channel and leading to the heat transfer surface (5). The invention is characterized in that each distribution channel (4) is provided, on its side located downstream with respect to the supply channel flow (8, 11), with a step-shaped expansion (14) bordered by a sharp point (15), the purpose of said expansion being to prevent liquid suction created in the channel due to the effect of siphonage. The junctions (9) of the supply channel (3) and the distribution channels (4) can be provided with rounded division surfaces (12), on which the liquid is distributed into the channels at each instant, and under which the step-shaped expansions (14) start.
