摘要： Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for support response-based resource management. A UE may determine an uplink response to be transmitted in response to a downlink transmission by a first TRP participating in CoMP to the UE with a second TRP. The first UE may select which of the first TRP or the second TRP to transmit the uplink response to, based at least in part on the determined uplink response and may transmit the uplink response to the selected first or second TRP.

摘要： A method and apparatus for antenna-array size adaptation at a BS include performing an initial beam refinement procedure using a plurality of antenna arrays with one or more devices, transmitting a plurality of beams using a plurality of antenna configurations to the one or more devices as part of an enhanced beam training procedure, wherein each antenna configuration includes a different subset of the plurality of antenna arrays used to transmit a different beam of the plurality of beams, receiving a plurality of feedback messages from the one or more devices associated with the plurality of beams transmitted using the plurality of antenna configurations, selecting an antenna configuration including a subset of the plurality of antenna arrays based on the plurality of feedback messages from the one or more devices, and communicating with the one or more devices using the selected subset of the plurality of antenna arrays.

摘要： Wireless communications systems and methods related to performing adaptive autonomous uplink (UL) communications are provided. A first wireless communication device receives, from a second wireless communication device, an autonomous uplink transmission configuration. The first wireless communication device determines a transmission parameter in response to a link adaptation parameter based on the autonomous uplink transmission configuration. The first wireless communication device transmits, to the second wireless communication device, an autonomous uplink communication signal based on the determined transmission parameter.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an uplink grant that includes multiple total downlink assignment indexes (DAIs) corresponding to multiple DAI groups associated with the UE, wherein each of the multiple DAI groups is associated with a different set of component carriers used by the UE for carrier aggregation; and transmit (ACK/NACK) feedback for the multiple DAI groups based at least in part on the multiple total DAIs included in the uplink grant. In some aspects, a base station may determine multiple total DAIs corresponding to multiple DAI groups associated with a UE, wherein each of the multiple DAI groups is associated with a different set of component carriers used by the UE for carrier aggregation; and transmit the multiple total DAIs to the UE in an uplink grant. According to one embodiment, a method performed in a wireless device for reporting CSI comprises at least one of: receiving an indication of a resource allocation for an UL transmission; determining, from the indication, a maximum container size for a CSI report; mapping the one or more information bits of a CSI report to a bitstream, optionally such that a first CSI subset is mapped to more significant bits than a second CSI subset; and omitting the one or more least significant bits of the bitstream.

摘要： A method of user equipment (UE) autonomous release RRC connection to reduce power consumption and signaling overhead is proposed. UEs sending small amount of data with long period, e.g., Machine-Type Communication (MTC) and Narrow-Band Internet of Things (NB-IoT) UEs, are allowed to be released autonomously after sending a given amount of data with corresponding request and configuration procedures. In one embodiment, UE sends an RRC connection request with UE autonomous release request, and receives an RRC setup message with UE autonomous release information. UE then transmits an RRC setup complete message with piggybacked uplink data. UE autonomously releases to Idle state upon expiry of an inactivity timer.
