Also, a security image capture system is disclosed which uses the portable electronic device. Since the image capture mode is automatically executed without an additional command from the user, an enhancement in use convenience is achieved. In the security image capture system, an image of an external situation is automatically captured in a charging mode enabled when the portable electronic device is coupled to a charger, and the captured image is transmitted to a security server via the Internet.
