    • An API rate limiting system may receive a client request from an API client associated with a tenant, formulate a proxied request with an internal authentication specific to the tenant, and send the proxied request to API endpoints (tenant resources) at a store. The store fulfills the request, accessing and modifying local database(s) as needed, and returns a response to the system. The system returns the response to the API client along with information about the API client's quota for the current time window. The system may calculate the quota based on a resource limit with respect to a number of clients accessing a resource. In some embodiments, the system may implement an exponential distribution function in making a determination on a quota per API client per time window.

    • Disclosed are a method for controlling Internet services, and a relevant device and system. Wherein, a method for controlling Internet services is applied to a terminal device deploying an Internet service client. The method includes: monitoring the type of messages that the Internet service client is ready to send to an application server via an air interface; when detecting that the transmitted message is a heartbeat message or a polling message, intercepting the heartbeat message or the polling message; wherein, the application server is used for processing services corresponding to the Internet service client, and also performs communications with a second service proxy function entity through a second communication channel, and the second communication channel does not include an air interface channel, and the second service proxy function entity which is proxy for the Internet service client sends the heartbeat message or the polling message to the application server.     • A communication system and method include an intermediate router arranged to facilitate communication between any of a plurality of communication nodes over a data communications network. The intermediate router receives communications over the data communications network from a transmitting communication node for a receiving communication node. The communication includes a unique identifier of the transmitting and receiving communication node. The intermediate router includes a routing database, and is arranged to record the unique identifier of the transmitting communication node against the network address of the transmitting communication node from which the communication was received. The intermediate router is also arranged to route communications to receiving nodes by obtaining the recorded network address associated with the unique identifier of the receiving node and routing the communication to the recorded network address. The unique identifier is independent of the network address of a node to cater for changed in network address.
