    • A welding method disclosed herein is a method for laser-welding a plate-shaped first member (10) and a plate-shaped second member (20). This method includes emitting first laser light (1) having a strength at which a keyhole can be generated to the wide surface of the first member along the first bonding surface (12) and forming a first molten pool (14) formed by being melted by the first laser light, the first molten pool being formed over the second member; and emitting second laser light (2) having a strength lower than a strength at which a keyhole can be generated to the side surface portion of the second member along the second bonding surface (22) and forming a second molten pool (24) formed by being melted by the second laser light, the second molten pool being formed over the first member. The first molten pool and the second molten pool are integrated with each other and form a molten pool and the first member and the second member are welded by a welding portion (30) formed when the molten pool is solidified.
