摘要： The telescopic sectioning device is comprised of nested tubular elements (10, 11', 12'); the base element (10) is connected to an electric plug, and the intermediary elements (11', 12') and an end element carry an electric contact. Each intermediary element (11', 12') contains two pulleys (110, 111), secured at the vicinity of each end as well as an endless belt (114) stretched between the two pulleys (110, 111) inside the element and attached at two diametrally opposite points (116, 117) at the ends of the two adjacent elements (10, 12'). The lower pulley (110) of the intermediary element (11') adjacent to the base element (10) is driven through the base element (10) by a gear system in mesh and sliding on a rotary fluted shaft (104) fixed in the base element (10) and driven by a drive motor.

摘要： The switching apparatus and the method are for varying the impedance of a phase line of a segment of an electrical power line. The phase line includes n conductors electrically insulated from each other and short-circuited together at two ends of the segment. The apparatus comprises a controllable interrupter connected in series for each conductor; a parameter detector; a first controller for controlling the interrupters; and a disabling unit for disabling the interrupters. The disabling unit comprises n controllable switches associated with the interrupters, position detectors for detecting which of the interrupters is closed, and a second controller having a command output to command the controllable switches and ensure that, at all operating times, at least one of the interrupters is closed and disabled.

摘要： There is provided a method for determining an abnormality during operation of a high voltage disconnect switch, the method comprising: determining a current position of an arm of the high voltage disconnect switch operatively connected to a motor, the motor being operated for driving the arm of the high voltage disconnect switch; determining a torque of the motor corresponding to the current position of the arm; comparing the torque of the motor to a torque threshold for the current position of the arm; and outputting an abnormality signal based on the comparison.
