The circuit-interrupting device includes a gearbox, a load-breaker in series with a visible disconnect, and an assembly driving the visible disconnect between an open state and a closed state. The interlock system includes a cam and a bias-driven follower. The cam is coupled to a shaft and is driven by the shaft between a first cam state when the load-breaker is in an open state and a second cam state when the load-breaker is in a closed state. The bias-driven follower has a first follower state when the cam is in the first cam state and has a second follower state when the cam is in the second cam state. In the second follower state, the bias-driven follower blocks movement of at least one component of the assembly. The cam and the bias-driver follower are positioned inside the gearbox.

摘要： A power operator for switchgear (1) for mains power distribution systems, where the switchgear comprises a closed cabinet (5) with an operating shaft protruding there from. The operating shaft is rotable at least between two positions and has a coupling part (2, 3). The operator comprises a housing (10), which is mountable on the external surface (4) of the switchgear housing, and a rotatable connection shaft (14) connected to an electric drive mechanism (11). It has a first coupling part to fit with the coupling part of the operating shaft in a longitudinal axial sliding and non-rotational interlocking manner. The coupling part of the connection shaft (14) is a separate interchangeable part (24, 24a) of the connection shaft attached thereto by non-rotational interlocking means. Further, it has an activation knob (16) extending from the housing (10) to operate the switch manually. With an interchangeable coupling part (24, 24a) the motor operator could easily be adapted to various switchgear simply by choosing a coupling part (24, 24a) fitting the coupling (2, 2a, 3) on the switchgear.

摘要： A closed loop feedback system controls electrical switchgear that moves at least one contact relative to another contact to switch power on and off in an AC electrical circuit. The control system includes a position feedback device that is operatively coupled to at least one of the two contacts to produce contact position information. A processor receives and analyzes the contact position information to control contact motion to provide AC waveform synchronized switching. The electrical switchgear may be a capacitor switch that includes a bi-stable over-toggle latching device. The latching device maintains the contact in one of an open stable position in which electrical current does not flow through the contacts or a closed stable position in which electrical current flows through the contacts.

摘要： A circuit interrupting device has a circuit interrupter with a stationary contact and a moveable contact. The movable contact is movable relative to the stationary contact between a closed position that allows current to pass through the circuit interrupter and an open position separating the contacts and preventing current from passing through the circuit interrupter.
