The end plate (1) comprises upper and lower springable detent elements (2,3) made from a single metal material piece. Said detent elements are directed against each other. The upper detent elements (2) are stretched inwardly in the direction of the extinguishing plates and the lower detent elements (3) are stretched outwardly in the direction of the housing (4) of the extinguisher chamber. Recesses are provided in the extinguisher chamber. The lower detent elements (3) of the end plate (1) engage with said recesses when they are fully inserted into the extinguisher chamber and are supported on the upper sides (6) of the recesses (5). Recesses (8) are also provided in the extinguisher chamber lid (7). The upper detent elements (2) of the end plate (1) engage with said recesses when the extinguisher chamber lid (7) is fully inserted into the extinguisher chamber and they are supported on the lower sides (9) of the recesses (8). A perfect non-positive connection is produced by means of the end-plate (1) material between the housing (4) of the extinguisher chamber and the extinguisher chamber lid (7). According to the invention, no additional fastening elements such as screws and the like are required to fasten the extinguisher chamber lid.
