    • There is disclosed a system including a smartphone device and a primary server, the smartphone including a processor and a touch screen display, the smartphone programmed with a shopping application operable to communicate with the primary server, wherein the shopping application is executable on the processor of the smartphone to receive user input in relation to shopping, wherein all the user input is receivable on the touch screen in response to user input provided by a single user finger, in which an entire shopping experience of a user may be started, carried out and completed, by the user using the shopping application when executed on the processor of the smartphone device, in which the shopping application when executing on the processor of the smartphone is configured to: (i) receive a selection from a user of a garment category; (ii) receive a selection from the user of a style of the selected garment category; (iii) receive a selection of a colour, or of a set of colours, in relation to the selected garment category; (iv) search a database of garments in relation to the selected garment category, the selected style of the selected garment category, and the selected colour, or the selected set of colours, in relation to the selected garment category, to derive search results; (v) display the search results in the touch screen display, wherein the displayed search results are selectable by the user for purchase; (vi) receive a selection of a search result by the user for purchase, and (vii) receive a checkout selection from the user, and in response to receiving the checkout selection from the user, to complete a checkout in communication with the primary server, without redirecting to an affiliate retailer's website.

    • Methods, systems, and computer programs are presented for optimizing data delivery for a User Interface (UI) to a plurality of device types. One method includes operations for receiving at a server a request for an update to the UI of a client device, and for determining, by an orchestrator at the server, modules associated with the request, each module being presented on the UI Further, the method includes operations for invoking domain services based on the determined modules (each domain service returning respective domain service data), and for synthesizing the domain service data to generate module data for each module. The synthesizing includes selecting from the domain service data and combining the selected domain service data to generate the module data. The module data is transmitted to the client device for all the modules, the module data being processable by the client device to update modules of the UI.

    • In various example embodiments, a system and method for identifying top attributes are presented. Text content from a document describing a product is extracted and plurality of attributes associated with the product are identified. A descriptor word proximate to each of the plurality of attributes in the extracted text content is detected. A weight is assigned to each descriptor word and the plurality of attributes are ranked based on the weight of the descriptor word proximate to each of the plurality of attributes. A predetermined number of top ranked attributes from the plurality of attributes are caused to be presented. Further, an image associated with each of the top ranked attributes is determined, the image being designated as a visual representation of the corresponding top ranked attribute. The image is caused to be displayed in association with the product on a user interface.
