    • The invention provides a louvered armor system to protect infrastructure equipment and facilities. The system can be added to existing equipment or be designed to be installed when the equipment to be protected is installed. The system is designed to allow easy assembly of the system using simple tools and with louvers which are "man" carry-able. The system is designed that portions of the system can be easily disassembled by removing the locking plate to gain access for maintenance or equipment installation/removal. In the preferred embodiment, the louvers are made of 5/16" thick 600 brinell hardness armor plate which is at an angle of 45 degrees. This system would be capable of stopping a 50 caliber ball bullet at full muzzle velocity. The system could be coated or painted to make the system electrically isolated and to protect from the weather. In a further embodiment the invention relates to a modular system incorporating armoured louvers that is scalable to accommodate different sizes of critical infrastructure components

    • The invention relates to a slat arrangement for redirecting the trajectory of a bullet. The slat arrangement has a plurality of elongated steel slats, and each elongated steel slat has a longitudinal front edge and a longitudinal back edge stretching between a first end and a second end. The slat arrangement also has a support structure for supporting the plurality of steel slats. The steel slats are positioned in a louver-like fashion for changing the direction of a bullet following a trajectory along the normal of the slat arrangement. The support structure is connected to each steel slat at the back edge of the steel slat and between the first end and the second end of the steel slat.

    • The flexible web to confront rocket propelled grenades is compromised of at least one grid (1) upon which the incoming grenades collide. This grid (1) is created by crossed strings (2). On the points where the strings (2) cross, solid connectors (3) with cuts (6) are placed. The solid connectors sustain the strings (2) in place. During the impact of the grenade on the grid (1), mechanical deformation occurs on the front conical metallic ogive (muzzle) which neutralizes the ignition mechanism. As a result, the grenade does not ignite (explode) on impact with the target. The flexible web is placed on the outside of the static or mobile target we wish to protect, ensuring a stand off distance.
