摘要： Disclosed is an improved analytical method for hydrogen filling stations for directly and accurately calculating the end-of-fill temperature in a hydrogen tank that, in turn, allows for improvements in the fill quantity while tending to reduce refueling time. The calculations involve calculation of a composite heat capacity value, MC, from a set of thermodynamic parameters drawn from both the tank system receiving the gas and the station supplying the gas. These thermodynamic parameters are utilized in a series of analytical equations to define a multi-step process by which target fill times, final temperatures and final pressures can be determined. The parameters can be communicated to the station directly from the vehicle or retrieved from a database accessible by the station. Because the method is based on direct measurements of actual thermodynamic conditions and quantified thermodynamic behavior, significantly improved tank filling results can be achieved.

摘要： The invention refers to a module for filling bottles with liquid propane-butane mixture and basic compounds connected to auto - LPG station having a 5 m3 overground LPG tank and to a process of handling. The module according to the invention is made of an electronic device for bottles' weighting-correction provided with an electronical volume batching connected to the pump of the auto - LPG station by using a GEMÜ controlling valve, and of an emptying-correction device which makes the correction and empties the bottle in case of overfilling or in case of an error when a gas proofness test is made by using a manual compressor-pump. The process of handling the module according to the invention consists of opening the GEMÜ controlling valve through the command of filling and weighting device which allows the transport of a propane-butane mixture towards a filling pistol connected to a gas bottle; when finishing the filling, the weighting device will command the closing of the GEMÜ controlling valve.

A reset element associated with the auto shutoff assembly causes at least a portion of the auto shutoff assembly to unblock the vent line for subsequent filling.

摘要： An improved apparatus and method for monitoring the levels of propane or other consumable liquid in remotely located storage tanks and coordinating delivery of liquid to those tanks, including an improved method of using the remote monitoring data to identify out-of-ordinary conditions at remote tanks, optimally schedule purchases or deliveries, improve safety, and more efficiently operate a propane dealership. More accurate and timely information concerning the status of customer tanks serves to improve operational efficiencies and increase safety. Data received from remote sensors can be collected and organized so that it is easily understood and utilized through the implementation of a user interface accessible via the Internet that allows the information to be presented in an efficient graphical and contextual fashion. Operational efficiencies can also be improved by calculating site-specific Degree-days and K-factors for each tank and by taking historical propane usage for each tank, weather conditions, and projected fuel usage into account.
