    • A subsea fluid processing system (1; 100; 200) comprising system inlet (3) connectable to an import line (5) for a fluid stream produced upstream of the system, system outlet (4) connectable to an export line (6) for further transport of the fluid stream downstream of the system, bypass line (11) controllable for connecting and disconnecting the system from the fluid stream, and flow path connecting the system inlet with the system outlet. A pump (9) and/or compressor (2) arranged in the flow path, the pump and/or compressor arranged to receive fluid via the system inlet and operable for discharge of fluid via the system outlet. The system further has a set of valves on the supply side and/or on the discharge side of the pump or compressor, the valves operable to set the pump or compressor in fluid flow communication with the fluid stream, wherein each set of valves comprises a main valve (16; 18; 20) and a secondary valve (17; 19; 21) arranged in parallel in the flow path, the main valve dimensioned for a normal process flow and the secondary valve dimensioned for a partial process flow, wherein the main and secondary valves are individually controllable for individual or combined flows over the valves.

    • A seal section (112) for use in a downhole submersible pumping system (100) includes a housing (114) and a seal bag (118) located within the housing. The seal bag includes a substrate (130) having a plurality of substrate surfaces (136, 138) and a metal coating layer (140) on at least one of the plurality of substrate surfaces. The substrate can optionally be configured as a cylindrical form that includes an interior surface and an exterior surface. In particularly preferred embodiments, the substrate is seamless and fabricated from an extruded fluoropolymer. The metal coating layer preferably comprises a metal selected from the group consisting of titanium, stainless steel, nickel, chrome, silver and gold. The metalized seal bag exhibits increased durability and decreased permeability to liquids and gases at elevated temperatures.
