摘要： A combination lock includes a lock body, a shackle axially moveable between a retracted position and an extended position, a locking mechanism, and a dial secured to the front side of the lock body. The locking mechanism is movable from a locked condition to an unlocked condition to permit movement of the shackle from the retracted position to the extended position. The dial includes an outer ring portion surrounding a stationary lock body face and rotatable with respect to the face, and a locking mechanism engaging portion disposed between the lock body face and the rear side of the lock body, wherein successive rotation of the dial to a series of one or more predetermined rotational positions causes the locking mechanism to move from the locked condition to the unlocked condition.

摘要： A padlock (10) includes a lock body (20), a locking element (30) movable between a locked position and an unlocked position, a latch (70), a user manipulable lock interface (40), an actuator mechanism (41), and a counter member (90). When the lock interface (40) is operated to a sequence of N correct code entry conditions, the latch (70) is moved from an initial locked position to an unlocked position. When the lock interface (40) is operated to any one of the plurality of code entry conditions, the actuator mechanism (41) engages the counter member (90) and incrementally advances the counter member (90) toward a stop position. When the lock interface (40) is operated to a sequence of N code entry conditions in which at least one of the sequence of N code entry conditions is an incorrect code entry condition, the counter member (90) is moved from the start position to the stop position before the latch (70) can be advanced to the unlocked position.
