    • The invention relates to a fall-prevention safety system of the type used for construction work being carried out at a height. The inventive system is characterised by the installation of a preferably-stainless-steel, horizontal cable which serves as a link and support for an operator and to which the latter can fix individual protection means, such as a safety belt or harness. The invention is suitable for roofing, enclosures, formwork installation, between posts, facades, lift shafts and staircases, using fastening and absorbing means which are anchored to a fixed element of the construction. The invention has one obvious novelty among its applications in that it is easy to install and remove without damaging the components thereof, providing the operator with a guarantee of safety and a freedom of action and movement and, consequently, preventing accidental falls from a height and fatal work accidents.
