摘要： A flooring element (1) according to the invention comprises: a) a panel element (2); b) second fastening means (64, 604); c) first fastening means (44, 404). The first fastening means include a coupling groove (44) extending in a first assembling direction (X). The second fastening means (64, 604) are arranged to fasten together the second fastening side (6) of the flooring element (1) and a fastening side of another similar flooring element of the modular floor, thereby preventing relative displacement of the two flooring elements at least in the first assembling direction (X). This enables building modular floors which are considerably resistant to tangential stresses applied to the walking plane in all directions parallel to the walking plane itself. According to the present invention, modular floors for gyms, sports courts and exhibition stands can therefore be built.

摘要： The present invention relates in general to tile assemblies and more particularly to a method of installing a plurality of tile assemblies on a planar surface. Existing tile systems require a large number of steps and take place over a matter of days while one waits for various adhesives and grouts to set. The invention provides a tile system which is much quicker and less complex to install. It relies mainly on a composite tile comprising: a surface tile layer; a rigid carrier being generally the same shape and planar dimensions of the surface tile layer; and adhesive means for bonding the rigid carrier to the underside of the surface tile layer; the rigid carrier having edges extending beyond the edges of the surface tile layer, the rigid carrier edges being operable to matingly engage with complementary edges of carriers of others of the composite tiles.

A plurality of magnets attached to the insulation panel are flush with the surface of the insulation panel within a plurality of holes. The cap plate affects a magnetic field of the respective magnet to aid magnetic connection of the respective magnet to the curved structure. 摘要： A self-locking paneling system is provided and includes: a panel defining a void therein and a pin positioned within the void; another structure configured to connect with the panel, the other structure comprising a receptacle; and a magnet positioned on at least one of the receptacle and the pin. When the panel and the other structure are positioned together, the pin is configured to move from a retracted position from within the void to an extended position to engage the receptacle using magnetic force produced by the magnet. The self- locking paneling system can be used for raised-flooring systems.
