Die Erfindung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in Abhängigkeit eines unter Anlagebedingungen theoretisch maximalen erreichbaren Trockengehalts (TG max ) im Bereich des Übergabebereichs (17) auf der Basis der vorhandenen Entwässerungselemente (E1-En) ein Sollwert für einen einzustellenden Zieltrockengehalt (Xsoll-TG ziel ) vorgegeben wird, der derart gewählt wird, dass dieser kleiner als der theoretisch maximal erreichbare Trockengehalt (TG max ), jedoch gleich oder größer als ein erforderlicher Mindesttrockengehalt im Bereich des Übergabebereichs (17) ist, und dass der Zieltrockengehalt (TG ziel ) durch Verringerung des Eingangstrockengehalts (TG E-ein ) an einer der letzten in Führungsrichtung der Faserstoffsuspension (FS) angeordneten Entwässerungseinrichtungen (En) innerhalb der Verdichtungszone (VZ) gesteuert wird.

Utilizing the blowing apparatus, release of the paper web from the pickup felt can be quickly initiated and damage to the pickup felt or press section clothing thereby avoided.
