摘要： The invention relates a process for removing coke formed during steam-cracking of a hydrocarbon feed. The process includes providing a decoking feed to at least one radiant coil of a steam-cracking furnace under conditions to remove at least a portion of coke from the at least one radiant coil to form a decoking effluent. The decoking effluent is cooled with a liquid quench medium to provide an partially-quenched decoking effluent. The partially- quenched decoking effluent is cooled with a gaseous quench medium to provide a quenched effluent. An apparatus configured to perform such a process is also described.

摘要： Disclosed herein is an improved fluidized catalytic cracking process for converting normally liquid hydrocarbon feedstock with simultaneous reduction of sulfur content in the liquid products obtained therefrom which comprises carrying out the cracking process in the presence of carbon monoxide gas as a reducing agent. The process optionally includes a step of premixing the hydrocarbon feedstock with carbon monoxide gas causing major sulfur reduction before effecting the cracking. 摘要： A process for the conversion of natural gas to essentially hydrocarbons by the Fischer-Tropsch process in a gas to liquid (GTL) plant, the process comprising the steps of feeding natural gas (65) to the GTL plant for conversion, at least some of the gas being produced from a gas hydrate type reservoir (63); generating carbon dioxide during the conversion process, separating the generated carbon dioxide from process or exhaust streams and feeding at least some of the separated carbon dioxide (57) into the gas hydrate type reservoir for further liberation of gas from the hydrate by exchange with the carbon dioxide and feeding the liberated gas (65) to the GTL plant (51) for conversion to essentially hydrocarbons. Thermal decomposition of the hydrate may be achieved by the addition of steam (58) to the reservoir, at least some of the steam being generated during the GTL process.

摘要： In a hydrocracking process, the product from the first stage reactor passes through a steam stripper to remove hydrogen, H 2 S, NH 3 , light gases (C 1 -C 4 ), naphtha and diesel products. The stripper bottoms are separated from hydrogen, H 2 S, NH 3 , light gases (C 1 -C 4 ), naphtha, and diesel products and treated in a second stage reactor. The effluent stream from the second stage reactor, along with the stream of separated hydrogen, H 2 S, NH 3 , light gases (C 1 -C 4 ), naphtha, and diesel products, are passed to a separation stage for separating petroleum fractions. Preferably, the effluent stream from the first stage reactor is passed through a steam generator prior to the steam stripping step. In an alternate embodiment, the effluent stream from the first stage reactor is passed through a vapor/liquid separator stripper vessel prior to the steam stripping step.

A method for turndown of separation vessel for PFT includes sustaining the feed flow to vessel; maintaining solvent-to-bitumen ratio in the diluted bitumen froth; and retaining water, minerals and asphaltenes in a lower section of the vessel while sustaining an outlet flow. The use of diluted bitumen derived from PFT as a viscosity modifying agent of the bitumen froth and an associated process are also provided.

摘要： A process for cracking a heavy hydrocarbon feed comprising a vaporization step, a coking step, a hydroprocessing step, and a steam cracking step is disclosed. The heavy hydrocarbon feed is passed to a first zone of a vaporization unit to separate a first vapor stream and a first liquid stream. The first liquid stream is passed to a second zone of the vaporization unit and contacted intimately with a counter-current steam produce a second vapor stream and a second liquid stream. The first vapor stream and the second vapor stream are cracked in the radiant section of the steam cracker to produce a cracked effluent. The second liquid stream is thermally cracked in a coking drum to produce a coker effluent and coke. The coker effluent is separated into a coker gas and a coker liquid. The coker liquid is reacted with hydrogen in the presence of a catalyst to produce a hyd reprocessed product. The hydroprocessed product is separated into a gas product and a liquid product. The liquid product is fed to the vaporization unit.
