摘要： The invention concerns a method and a device for partially or completely separating or enriching concentration of one or several compounds contained in a mixture of gaseous or liquid constituents. The method consists in: introducing, by effect of pressure, the fluid containing several types of molecules in a helical conduit (1) with multiple turns and subjecting it to a forced trajectory enabling to reach high rotational speeds, one or several outlet orifices (3) being placed on the wall and connected to recuperating elements (11), each orifice being equipped with a flow regulating system (10) only allowing through a flow rate equal to the flow rate calculated at said site of the molecules of one selected constituent of the mixture, at a likewise selected concentration. The invention mainly aims at producing filtering equipment for separating chemical or gaseous compounds, or for preparing products with enriched concentration relative to their initial concentration.

摘要： A method of producing 13 N-ammonia for use in medical imaging is provided, which includes irradiating 14 N (having a natural abundance of 99.64%) with a collimated bremsstrahlung radiation (gamma-ray beam) obtained by directing high-energy electrons onto a high-Z converter. The 14 N to be irradiated may be in the form of liquid ammonia ( 14 NH 3 ) or ammonia gas to directly produce 13 N-ammonia ( 13 NH 3 ) or in the form of liquid nitrogen to indirectly produce 13 N-ammonia through conversion of the irradiated liquid nitrogen (N 2 ) via known conversion processes to 13 N-ammonia. The photons have an energy level above the threshold of the 14 Ν(γ,η) 13 Ν reaction (about 10.5 MeV).

One embodiment of the method of vapor recovery includes providing a combined gas phase and liquid phase fluid, by way of a pipe, wherein the pipe comprises a gas vent. Then removing at least a portion of the gas phase fluid with the gas vent. Then compressing the removed portion of gas phase fluid, thereby forming compressed gas stream. And finally accumulating the compressed gas stream in a storage tank downstream of the compressor.

摘要： A process is provided for separating one or more light gases from bromine or chlorine using one or more physical separations and contact with a chemical scrubber to recover additional halogen. In one aspect, the process comprises (a) providing a feed of halogen containing one or more light gases to a distillation column or flash vaporizer; (b) operating the distillation column or flash vaporizer to separate the feed into (i) a first liquid containing a major amount of halogen and no more than a minor amount of light gas(es), and (ii) a first vapor containing a major amount of light gas(es) and no more than a minor amount of halogen; and (c) providing the vapor to a chemical scrubber to recover halogen from the vapor.
