    • The invention relates to a device for individually feeding sheet-type printing materials (1) from a stack (5) to an entrance (82) of a transport path (84). Said device comprises a negative-pressure chamber (32), which is located above the stack (5) in the vicinity of the transport path entrance (82), a perforated, continuous transport belt (34) which is looped around the negative-pressure chamber (32) and a drive (38). According to the invention, the negative-pressure chamber (32) and the transport belt (34) co-operate in such a way that the latter can exert a negative pressure on the uppermost printing material sheet (1) of the stack (5) of sheet-type printing material (1), said pressure sucking the uppermost printing material sheet (1) against the transport belt (34) and conveying said sheet to the transport path entrance (84) by means of the drive (38) of the transport belt (34). The device (100) comprises a controller (50), which controls the drive (38) of the transport belt (34) in the transport direction (31, 80), in accordance with the length of the sheet-type printing material (1).
