摘要： A package for the storage of food or other suitable products includes a tray and, optionally, a lidding film. The tray is thermoformed, molded, or otherwise shaped to provide a recessed portion and flange, the recessed portion defining a product-receiving cavity. The flange includes a frame portion surrounding the cavity and a margin portion disposed alongside the frame portion and, in some embodiments, extending substantially a full width of the tray. The optional lidding film attaches to both the frame and margin portions and typically seals the cavity. The margin portion and a side wail of the recessed portion may include locking features to allow the margin portion to snap close against the side wall. The package may then be made to stand on end with the margin portion acting as a base. The lidding film may include a peelable/resealable film to allow repeated access to the product while sealing the cavity between uses.

摘要： The present invention relates to a self-closing liquid dispensing package comprising a liquid container (10) and a self-closing flat channel valve (20) in liquid communication with liquid container, wherein the liquid container comprises a reservoir portion (13) for containing liquid. The reservoir portion is made of a thermoformed thermoplastic material. In one prefered embodiment of the present invention, the self-closing flat channel valve (20) comprises a first sheet member and a second sheet member (21, 22) wherein the sheets are substantially planar, are indexed face-to-face, and are sealed together along their longitudinal edges, wherein the sheet members are sufficiently flexible to arch away from each other to form a flow channel (25) therethrough to permit a flow of contained liquid in response to external pressure applied to the liquid container, and wherein at least one of the sheet members is sufficiently resilient to return the sheet members to their original planar position when the external pressure is released. In another preferred embodiment of the present invention, the self-closing flat channel valve (20) is in liquid communication with the container via a connection portion wherein the connection portion comprises a stiffening crease (50). The package of the present invention is useful for multiple use of various liquid product having a wide range of viscosity.

The package includes at least one container (12a, 12b) with upper and lower portions. The upper portion includes a cartridge-receiving recess (26a) and the lower portion includes a handle-receiving recess (27a). A cover sheet (14a, 14b) covers the top perimeter of the container and is sealed to the container such that a user can peel the sheet back to open and access the razor. With two or more containers in the razor package the cover sheets may have a sheet separability line (13a) between them to allow for easy peeling. Additionally, these containers (12a, 12b) may be secured together via a container separability line (13b), allowing a user to also pull off one container from the package at a time. The container and sheet separability lines (13a, 13b) may be aligned and may or may not be formed at the same time.
