The stick pack is configured to be folded along its longitudinal axis (AA) to fold the notch (32), and only when the notch is folded can a user easily tear the top sealed edge (12) along the horizontal perforation line (34) to expose the spout (36).

摘要： The present invention provides a rigid PVC formulation comprising, (a) 50 to 100 % by weight of medium molecular weight Suspension-PVC (S-PVC) resin; (b) 1.4 to 2.8% by weight of at least one alkyl tin mercaptide stabilizer; (c) 1 to 2 % by weight of at least one solid alkaline earth metal lubricant; and (d) 0.4 to 0.8 % by weight of at least one solid organic lubricant; wherein the rigid PVC formulation can be used to make rigid PVC shrink films for non-packaging applications such as tamper evident seals used as closures in LPG cylinders to prevent misuse/tampering of LPG gas. The present invention further provides processes for making the rigid PVC shrink films by the double bubble extrusion process using an extruder with a rotating die.

摘要： A tamper-evident package for pharmaceuticals is described. The package includes a case. A tray holding pharmaceuticals slides in and out of the case. The package includes an alarm that can be set to armed and triggered mode. When the alarm is armed, the system of the package changes the alarm to triggered in response to the tray being opened. The package may engage an access indicator in response to the alarm being triggered. The package may also flash an indicator light upon request, prior to opening the tray, to indicate whether the alarm was triggered since being previously armed. The alarm can be armed again if it is triggered, by entering a security code while the tray is closed.
