    • The inventive turning method and device reduce the resistance to turn of a transport means whose undercarriage is provided with a long and narrow bearing surface. The inventive turning method consists in dividing the designed long and narrow outline of the bearing surface into a certain plurality of turning sections which are longitudinally disposed one after another along the same track, for example in the form of a plurality of separate short turning skis or crawlers or the combination thereof. During travelling, said sections simultaneously turn with respect to the transport means body, wherein each section turns at an individual angle required for the transport means running along a predetermined trajectory, i.e. at an angle, at which each section is arranged along the tangent to the travel paths of the transport means points around which said sections turn. When the transport means turns, all sections overcome forces resistant to turning by the minimum section thereof in such a way they poke through a medium instead of moving said medium as in the case when an entire crawler or ski turns.

    • The 3-ski snow bike designs transform bicycles into 3-ski snow bikes that can be used for downhill and cross country snow biking. It consists of a bicycle frame with 1 permanent front ski instead of the front wheel and 2 detachable rear skis on each side. The 2 rear skis provide good snow bike stability while the short front ski allows for easy maneuverability. These 3-ski designs are adaptable to most types of bicycles with pedals and rear wheel of bicycle attached and used to move the 3-ski snow bike cross country, or removed for downhill snow biking. The steering bar in addition to controlling the turns with the front ski can be used to move the 2 rear skis up/down, enabling the snow bike to lean during turns, or the rear skis can move freely for easier control on steep slopes. The 3-ski snow bike also has a breaking mechanisms (brake bar digging into snow), rear shocks for a smooth ride, and ski attachments that easily connect to most downhill ski bindings, so that the rider can change the length and type of rear skis, depending on size, ability, and snow biking terrain.

    • The present invention relates to sport equipment as well as to the field of transportation and may be used essentially for going down slopes covered with snow. The snow-sliding vehicle of the present invention comprises a support frame (1) having at least a front and a rear ski (2, 3) attached thereto. At least one of said skis is connected to the frame (1) using a control mechanism that ensures rotation of the vehicle in the direction of the frame inclination. The control mechanism includes a pair of intersecting or skewed axes (4, 5) which are connected by a connection member (6) and placed at a given angle relative to each other. One (4) of said axes is perpendicular to the diametrical plane while the other (5) is inclined relative to the ski sliding surface. In various embodiments of the present invention, the snow-sliding vehicle may be equipped with shock absorbers, brakes and even with a reverse device that spontaneously restores the vehicle initial position after a lateral load is relieved. The platform structure can also be designed so that a user can ride the vehicle in a standing, sitting or lying position.
