摘要： Provided are precipitation hardened high strength nickel based alloy welds that yield improved properties and performance in joining high strength metals. The advantageous weldments include two or more segments of ferrous or non- ferrous components, and fusion welds, friction stir welds, electron beam welds, laser beam welds, or a combination thereof bonding adjacent segments of the components together, wherein the welds comprise a precipitation hardened nickel based alloy weld metal composition including greater than or equal to 1.4 wt% of combined aluminum and titanium based on the total weight of the nickel based alloy weld metal composition. Also provided are methods for forming the welds from the nickel based alloy weld compositions, wherein the precipitation hardening occurs in the as-welded condition. The nickel based welds do not require a separate heat treatment step after welding to produce advantageous strength properties.

摘要： The invention relates to a method for producing a housing (100-125) with at least one hermetically sealed receiving space (12, 19, 20) for an electronic component (3), said receiving space comprising at least a part of the interior of the housing (100-125). In the method, a hollow body (2) made of glass and having at least one opening is produced/provided, at least one electronic device (3) is introduced through the at least one opening, and the receiving space (12, 19, 20) is hermetically sealed by melting the housing (100-125), or the at least one opening is sealed by means of laser radiation. Disposed in the transport direction of open links (2') is a number of sequentially structured gas flames (51), each of which is adapted to deliver an adapted amount of thermal energy to the links. The gas flame (51'), or a coordination of gas flames, situated last in the transport direction, terminate the welding process. Chosen gas flames can be adjusted in relation to a prevailing chain link temperature, so as to heat respective links (21, 22, 23) to a predetermined temperature.
