The coating assembly includes a trough (10) having first and second transverse ends. At least one coating insert (60) is inserted within the trough to define an edge of coated fluid on a substrate. The coating insert (60), having one or two edge-defining surfaces (70), is positioned within the trough. The first end of the edge-defining surface (70) is closer to the adjacent transverse end of the trough than the second end of the edge-defining surface. The top face of the coating insert may also include a second edge-defining surface having first and second ends that may define another edge of the coated fluid on a substrate.

    • A chamber is provided that allows a user to medicate an implantable prosthesis such as a stent. The implantable prosthesis is capable of securing a therapeutic substance and subsequently delivering the therapeutic substance to local tissues. The chamber allows a user to medicate the prosthesis subsequent to the sterilization process and immediately prior to the implantation procedure. The chamber includes a hollow body defining a chamber cavity that encapsulates the prosthesis crimped on a balloon of a catheter assembly. The chamber is removably mounted on the catheter assembly. A user can supply therapeutic substances into the chamber and allow the therapeutic substances to be secured by the prosthesis. After allowing the prosthesis to be soaked by the therapeutic substances for a predetermined amount of time, the chamber is removed and the prosthesis is ready for the implantation procedure.

    • Apparatus for applying a layer of material to a leading edge of a wind turbine blade. The apparatus comprises a flexible substrate capable of supporting the layer of material. The flexible substrate is reconfigurable between a presentation configuration in which a part of the layer of material contacts the leading edge to define an initial area of contact, and a transfer configuration in which the flexible substrate, and thereby the layer of material, is wrapped around, and adopts the contours of, at least a part of the leading edge. The apparatus also comprises a substrate support for supporting the flexible substrate in the presentation and transfer configurations. At least a part of the substrate support is moveable to reconfigure the flexible substrate between the presentation and transfer configurations such that the layer of material can be offered up to the leading edge of the wind turbine blade with the flexible substrate in the presentation configuration, and thereafter the flexible substrate can be reconfigured by increasing the area of contact between the layer of material and the leading edge until the flexible substrate is in the transfer configuration.
