    • A retention assembly (10) for a hollow tubular decorating roller (202) comprising a fixed mount member (12) that is securable in use to a roller frame (26). The fixed mount member (12) includes a first primary support formation (16) and a first retention formation (18) that extends radially beyond the first primary support formation (16). The retention assembly (10) also includes a separable mount member (14) that is selectively couplable with the fixed mount member (12). The separable mount member (14) includes a second primary support formation (20) and a second retention formation (22) that extends radially beyond the second primary support formation (20). The first and second primary support formations (16, 20) are received, in use, by a respective end (204a, 204b) of a hollow tubular decorating roller (202). The first and second retention formations (18, 22) cooperate with one another while the separable mount member (14) is coupled with the fixed mount member (12) to in use retain a hollow tubular decorating roller (202) therebetween.

    • A paint applicator configured for use in combination with a hollow-core paint roller cover includes a handle and a pair of pivot arms extending therefrom. Each pivot arm includes a proximate end rotatably mounted to the handle and an opposite, distal end to which is pivotably mounted a hub assembly. A pivot arm actuator is cooperatively linked to the pivot arms such that movement of the actuator in a first direction causes the pivot arms to rotate toward one another and movement of the actuator in a second direction causes the pivot arms to rotate away from one another. Each hub assembly includes a rotatable hub with an outer surface configured to frictionally engage the inside surface of the roller cover such that, when the pivot arms are rotated toward one another, the hubs enter and retain the roller between the pivot arms.

    • The present invention relates to an apparatus equipped with a double roller unit for applying liquid material comprising: a main body which has a space inside to accommodate content, a coupling structure projecting upwards at the upper portion, and a first discharge hole through which the content is discharged at the upper portion; a roller supporting part disposed at the upper side of the main body, and having a second discharge hole communicating with the first discharge hole at the lower portion; a first roller part disposed in a rotatable manner at the roller supporting part so as to come in contact with the content discharged through the second discharge hole; a second roller part disposed at the side of the first roller part so as to be in contact with the first roller part, and coupled with the roller supporting part in a rotatable manner; and an inner cap coupled with the coupling structure of the main body, and having a through hole communicating with the first discharge hole. The roller supporting part comprises a plurality of supporting ribs projecting from the inner wall of the roller supporting part so as to come in contact with the outer circumferential surface of the inner cap. When the second roller part rotates, the first roller part rotates in connection with the second roller part, and transfers the contents discharged through the second discharge hole to the second roller part. According to the present invention, side-to-side shaking of the roller supporting part is minimized while the roller supporting part rotates because of the supporting ribs and a reinforcing rib.
