摘要： An air cleaning device according to the present invention comprises: a body case forming the external appearance and having a filter installation opening formed on one side of the surface thereof; a drawer including a filter housing disposed within the body case, a frame having a drawer opening through which air passes, and a filter cover coupled to the frame to cover the filter installation opening; and a filter module removably seated on the frame and filtering air having passed through the drawer opening. The drawer can be extracted from the inner space of the filter housing through the filter installation opening.

摘要： Electrokinetic devices and methods are described with the purpose of collecting assayable agents from a dielectric fluid medium. Electrokinetic flow may be induced by the use of plasma generation at high voltage electrodes and consequent transport of charged particles in an electric voltage gradient. Pulsed DC fields applied to electrodes result in enhanced flow by synchronizing the pulses between successive electrodes. The agents are directed by creation of an electrokinetic potential well, which will effect their capture on to an assay device.

The corona frame and collecting cartridge are configured to have active and passive areas and be removable from the housing within which they are positioned. The arrangement comprises a support structure, a wire emitter electrode and a guide surface. The guide surface is spaced away parallel from the wire in a first direction perpendicular with respect to the wire. The guide surface has a different electrostatic charge with respect to the wire for providing an electrostatic force. The support structure comprises a bar spaced away parallel from the wire in a second direction perpendicular with respect to the wire. The second direction has a component that is opposite to the first direction and a component that is perpendicular to the first direction. The bar has a different electrostatic charge with respect to the wire for boosting the particle flow such that the particle flow follows a looped trajectory around the wire and the bar.

A conditioning material (304, 810, 910) is deposited on the electrode (102, 202, 302, 508, 708, 808, 908, 1008) to at least partially mitigate erosion, corrosion, oxidations, dendrite formation on the electrode or ozone production. The conditioning material can be deposited by a wearable portion of one or more cleaning blocks or wipers. The cleaning blocks may have a composition selected to be hard enough to remove detrimental material under a selected pressure, while soft enough to be wearable to deposit a conditioning layer on the electrode surface. The conditioning material can be applied as a solid or liquid. The applied conditioning material can include at least one of silver, palladium, platinum, manganese, nickel, zirconium, titanium, tungsten, aluminum, oxides or alloys thereof, carbon, and organometallic materials that decompose under plasma conditions.
