    • A lifter bar for lifting an engaged portion of a load comprising a number of ore pieces above a disengaged portion of the load in a grinding mill having a shell rotatable about an axis thereof. The lifter bar includes a leading face having one or more leading surfaces, and a trailing face. The lifter bar is mountable on the shell located at a predetermined distance from a trailing face of a preceding lifter bar. When the lifter bar and the preceding lifter bar are mounted on the shell, the leading face and the trailing face of the preceding lifter bar at least partially define a pocket therebetween in which a part of the engaged portion of the load is at least partially retainable, until the leading surface is located in a predetermined release position, at which the part has substantially exited the pocket under the influence of gravity.

    • A rotary tumbler metal reclaimer includes an inner cylinder and a concentric outer cylinder that rotate simultaneously. The inner cylinder includes a first compartment that intakes material for breaking by teeth, a second compartment that receives broken material from the first compartment and crushes the material into smaller particles, and a third compartment wherein particulate material enters the space between the inner cylinder and the outer cylinder by attrition through perforated screens. The second compartment includes a crusher having various features for crushing lump material as it rotates. The third compartment provides further breakage and conveyance of particulate material. Particulate material then returns proximate the intake for screening into fine and coarse sizes and then collecting for reuse. Metallics and metallic oxides exit the tumbler through apertures in the rear of the third compartment for collection. The tumbler reclaims metals, metallic oxides, sands, and other materials for reuse.

    • A treaded lifter bar (1) for grinding mill is provided with a plurality of flexible treads (2) positioned over the core rubber matrix forming its main rubber surface. Treads (2) have a zig-zag configuration with higher rubber content in their wear zone to increase the surface area and reduce the wearing lifter bar (1).
