Sorbent material beds (25) rotate continuously past breathing gas vent loop ports (13, 43) for scrubbing CO 2 /H 2 O and then past vacuum ports (43, 44) for regenerating the sorbent material. Typically, a first fluid output is connected to a lower header fluid output and a second, sweeping fluid source connected to a lower header fluid input. A motor (70) spins a substantially circular bed assembly (20, 120) at a predetermined speed which allows adsorption or adsorption as well as desorption of materials flowing through the sorbent material.
