    • A hand-held bubble generating apparatus designed to mimic the appearance of a gun or a cannon. A housing may be coupled with a non-spill reservoir, and bubble generating liquid may be stored in the non-spill reservoir. A tube may communicate the bubble generating liquid from the reservoir to a bubble assembly support inside the housing. The bubble assembly support may hold a rotational bubble ring comprising a plurality of individual rings spaced about the outer circumference. When rotated proximate to and across a liquid dispensing section, each individual ring may receive enough bubble generating liquid to form a film across each ring. By rationing the amount of bubble liquid released on each individual ring, the device can incorporate a closed, non-spill reservoir. When air is generated and blown through the film of bubble generating liquid on each of the individual rings of the rotational bubble ring, bubbles are produced.

    • A hand holdable, large bubble producing toy (10) that when activated by a human produces a thin soapy membrane across an air space. Movement of air into the air space results in the production of one or more large bubbles. Activation of the toy (10) is accomplished by manually moving of a pivot arm (76) which electrically operates a pump to supply soapy liquid (54) along the entire length of a pair of half loop members (80, 86). Movement of the half loop members (80, 86) from an abutting alongside position to an aligned position will encircle the air space and will result in the production of a thin soapy membrane across the air space through which air will be moved to form bubbles.

    • A bubble maker (10) comprises a support (12) and a pair of separate bands (14, 16) connected to the support at first and second spaced-apart positions (18, 20). The bands are adapted to extend substantially parallel and near to each other and also to be flexed and stretched so as to form a gap of substantial size between the bands. A dispenser (24) mounted on the support dispenses a bubble-forming solution near the first position, and a collector (26) mounted on the support collects excess solution near the second position. Drawstrings (52, 54) mounted on the support engage the elastic bands at positions intermediate the first and second positions for separating the bands. A pump (34) pumps solution from the collector to the dispenser. Accordingly, when the support is oriented with the first position above the second and solution is dispensed onto the bands, the bands are separated by the drowstrings, and a gentle air current is established relative to the bubble maker so that air passes between the separated bands, a portion of the solution forms a bubble and excess solution flows down to and is collected by the collector, from which it can be recirculated to the dispenser by the pump.
