    • Play apparatus (1) comprises a body (3), suitably moulded from plastics, and a plurality of play elements (5). The body (3) has an even number of faces (6), twelve or more in number and is adapted so that when it is thrown it will come to rest on one of these faces. The play elements (5) are adapted to be releasably secured to faces (6) of the body (3) and when secured thereto they will alter the rolling characteristics of the body (3). This may be effected by rebating faces (6) of the body (3) to provide a recess (7) to accommodate a play element (5) therein. Suitably the play elements (5) are retained in engagement with the body (3) by magnetic attraction between magnets (35) on the elements and metallic inserts (17) in recesses (7) of the body. The play elements (5) may have insignia applied to a face (25) which will be exposed when the element (5) is applied to the body (3). Games may involve arranging or matching elements (5) having selected insignia on the body (3).

The first area (a) comprises a rotary member (2) divided into 24 sectors by edges (d). A die (4) with twelve identical contact surfaces each having a regular pentagonal shape lands on said rotary member after being dropped through a funnel (5) and hitting a spherical ball-shaped rotary portion (3) rotating in the opposite direction to the rotary member (2).     • The invention relates to an apparatus for playing board game comprising a playing board (10), a pair of dice (20, 21), playing pieces (30) and a table (50). The playing board includes a plurality of grids (101) arranged in lateral and longitudinal axis with markings selected from adjoining numbers. The pair of dice includes faces marked either with a number or symbol to generate random indications. The playing pieces (30) are to be moved into individual grids according to rules of play. The table relates the random indications to the playing pieces whereby a player may move the playing pieces to form a line of five in vertical, horizontal or diagonal array to win a game.

    • An apparatus for a game for one or more players based on the relation between groups and sub-groups of data. In the preferred form the game is based on numbers related by mathematical multiplication tables. The apparatus has in the preferred form a display in the form of a representation of a board (10) with an array of discrete locations (11). Each location has assigned thereto a first indicia being a number from 1 up to a base number or a multiple number which is determined by multiplying from 1 up to and including the base number provided the resultant multiple number is greater than the base number. A dice can be used as a means of randomly generating a second indicia, being a number from 1 up to and including the base number. Once a player has thrown the dice, he may select any of the first indicia on the board that is a multiple of that number with the limits defined and can indicate ownership of a selected location by marking that location with a unique colour or ornamentation etc. The array displayed on the board is configured to allow a plurality of possible relationships between two or more locations and the scoring can be based on rules concerning points to be allocated for specific relationships such as, for example, three locations in a row.
