    • The present invention relates to a sports racket for playing in narrow indoor spaces. The racket has a total length of 430 to 470mm, a total width of 150 to 185mm, a string unit length of 220 to 225mm, a shaft diameter of 5 to 7mm and a cross section thickness of 0.5 to 1.5mm. The racket of the present invention reduces the flight length and height of the shuttlecock, thereby enabling play within a narrow space. Being lightweight, it is easy for the weak, the elderly and children to use and prevents user joint-strain. Using the racket of the present invention involves more physical exercise, as it demands increased footwork on the part of the user, and increases the activity of the user due to the shuttlecock being passed back and forth more frequently as a result of the shortened flight length. Although the racket of the present invention has a comparatively reduced size, the elastic force of the racket shaft is not reduced, and user joint-strain is therefore prevented by absorption of the force of impact when striking the shuttlecock. Users can execute accurate motions by applying elastic force to the shuttlecock to achieve a satisfactory flight distance. The racket of the present invention is therefore suitable for encouraging national sports participation.
