    • The present invention is a non-rolled adhesive condom with adhesive coating on its external surface supported by one or more releasing strips, a configuration that allows easy manufacture and deployment of said condom. Deployment involves donning the external surface of the closed end of said condom onto penis and pulling the releasing strips proximally and away from said condom, thereby inverting the adhesive coated external surface outside-in to adhere to penis. The condom may be constructed by sealing two or more membranes, even with the supporting films on. The tip of the closed end of condom has an adhesive-free area to serve as seminal receptacle. It can be opened to aid deployment of urinary condom catheter. Based on the above principle, a number of shortened non-rolled adhesive condoms (abbreviated condoms) comprising a seminal receptacle and adhesive flange(s) that wrap around the distal part of penis are also presented.

    • The disclosed sheath-like contraceptive condom (10), even in a rolled-up condition suitable for packaging or use, has a high coefficient of friction on the surface that comes into contact with penile skin, particularly the portion of this surface contacting the glans and preferably also the shaft of the penis. The outer surface (14) of the rolled condom, on the other hand, preferably has anti-blocking or release properties, so that it can be rolled-up and unrolled without difficulty. The high coefficient of static friction (> 0.70, preferably > about 1.0, according to ASTM Designation D 1894-90) on the interior surface (12) provides reliable frictional engagement of at least the glans and preferably also the shaft of the penis, so that the condom clings to the contours of the penis and resists slippage during intercourse.

    • A process and device (1) are disclosed for producing a thin walled condom in several dipping steps. The process essentially consists of three dipping steps in three different dipping basins (7, 9, 11). The dipping depths of the dipping tool (14) substantially differ from each other. After each dipping step, the elastic material applied on the dipping tool (14) is subjected to a predetermined thermal treatment.
