摘要： An equine bandage wrapping device includes a motor with a rotating drive shaft mounted on a hinged bracket. A forked spindle coupled to the motor engages the bandage. The hinged bracket pivots in response to external force causing a torque on the hinge. The external force is supplied by the user pulling slightly against the bandage while it is secured to the forks. Such force is resisted by a spring disposed between a base plate and the underside of the floating end of the hinged bracket. If sufficient force is applied to overcome the spring force, then the electrical circuit between the motor and power source is closed, resulting in the motor turning on. The circuit is opened by removing the external force to cause the spring to return to its extended position, resulting in the motor stopping movement.

摘要： A rolled external-use patch which comprises a roll core and an external-use patch wound around the outer peripheral surface of the roll core, and which is provided with a pair of side covers attached to the opposite ends of the roll core and covering the rolled external-use patch at opposite sides, the roll core and each side cover being formed of a plastic material. Each side cover prevents the dissipation of medical-efficacy components from the opposite end faces of the roll, protects against troubles such as a deformed roll shape, and enables the smooth pulling-out and taking-up of the patch. The roll core and side covers, being formed of the plastic material, can drastically reduce the loss of medical-efficacy components incurred by being adsorbed to and passing through these members.

摘要： A container for storing and dispensing rolled bandages comprises a pair of attached half shells that are separable for cleaning and disinfection purposes. Strips of flexible material are formed into rolls by a hand crank having a slotted shaft rotatably journalled in opposing front and back walls at one end of the container. In registry with the shaft, a slot disposed in an adjacent side wall admits and guides the flexible strips into engagement with the shaft. A guide member is slidably positionable within the side wall slot to accommodate flexible strips of different widths. The side wall slot also includes a sweep member to brush off any foreign matter clinging to the strips as they are rolled. Withdrawal of the hand crank when a roll is complete disengages the shaft from the roll which then drops from the slot end of the container to the opposite end thereof from which is may be dispensed.
