摘要： A system for cleaning a hot food preparation surface is provided. According to an embodiment, the system includes a cleaning tool including a handle and a detachable base. In one embodiment the handle and detachable base comprise a polymeric material, where the melting point of the polymeric material in the handle is lower than the melting point of the polymeric material in the base. According to another embodiment, the system includes a scrubbing pad support member that is configured to engage and secure a scrubbing pad and connect the scrubbing pad to a handle or a base of a cleaning tool. In some embodiments, the handle of the tool is constructed to be reused numerous times whereas the detachable accessories, e.g., the scrubbing pad support member and/or a scrubbing pad, are constructed to be disposable. A method of molding the scrubbing pad support member is also provided. A method of cleaning is also provided wherein the cleaning tool is used with liquid or solid cleaners to clean a hot food preparation surface.

The inventive attachment comprises a leading scraping edge, a serrated raised edge, a debris catch, finger grips and side flaps formed integrally as a single piece of material. A support rod integral a side flap of the inventive scraper attachment is pierced through the body of a sponge for securely mounting the inventive attachment on a sponge to by fastening to the opposite side flap. The inventive scraper attachment can be easily dismounted from the sponge for reuse and cleaning, and be used independently with any brand of sponge. The serrated raised edge serves to help break up stubborn deposits, while the debris catch collects the loosened material for convenient cleaning. Additionally, a liquid soap or detergent dispensing means is included to infuse liquid soap or detergent into the sponge.

摘要： An apparatus for removing adhesive (29) or other contaminants from a hand trowel (27). Two embodiments are disclosed, each including a body (12) having a slot (14) extending through at least a portion thereof, and through which the trowel blade (26) is drawn for cleaning. A pair of opposing scraping blades (18) is mounted to the body (12), on either side of an entry end (16) of the slot (14). The blades (18) are maintained in spaced relation, a distance approximating the thickness of the trowel blade (26). In one embodiment, the body (12) includes, at one end, a handle (13) for gripping. The underside of the body (12) may also be attached to another blade (37), having a special scraping edge on its forward portion. In this configuration, the first embodiment performs yet another cleaning function, as a floor scraping tool. In the other embodiment, the body (53) is structurally integrated with a reservoir, or trough (62), adapted for mounting over a portion of the lip (54) of a bucket (56) containing adhesive (57). The other embodiment also includes a separate scraping knife (68), for cleaning the planar underside of the trowel (63). The trough (62) contains and confines the scraped-off adhesive (29), to prevent fouling of the fresh adhesive (57) in the bucket (56).

摘要： A scraper, such as a wall scraper using a standard replaceable blade, is provided with an adjustable scraper head for changing the attack angle of the blade to suit the user and/or the job. Embodiments include a scraper having an elongated handle and a scraper head for fixedly holding a blade, the scraper head being pivotably mounted to an end of the handle for positioning the scraper head at a selected angle to the handle. A lock, engageable with the handle and the scraper head, fixes the scraper head at the selected angle. The lock has a knob for gripping the scraper, and the handle has a rear grip, thus allowing the user greater control of the scraper.
