The dispenser (2) comprises a housing (6) with a holder arrangement (16) for receiving the roll (3), the holder arrangement (16) providing a roil rotational axis about which the roll (3) is arranged to rotate when dispensing the web. The drive roller (26) and the engaging roller (28) are arranged so as to define a dispensing passage (30) there between for the web. The dispenser (2) is adapted for a user to grasp, and pull on, a dispensing end (32) of the web to dispense a length of web from the roll (3). The roll (3) of web is arranged to be biased against the drive roller (26). 摘要： A two-roll toilet paper dispenser automatically transfers a new roll into dispensing position once the previous roll is spent or nearly spent. A spring-loaded plate senses the decreasing diameter of the first roll, and once it reaches a predetermined minimum, actuates a linkage that permits a mandrel carrying the two rolls to drop down within the dispenser body and position the second roll for dispensing. The mandrel and track structure permits reloading the dispenser without removing the mandrel. The rolls of toilet paper have adapter plugs in one end only, to ensure that the rolls are placed in the correct orientation within the dispenser.

In addition, the latch mechanism utilized to releasably maintain the front housing portion (20) closed on the back housing portion (18) is constructed to inhibit ingress of liquid. A support structure located in the compartment rotatably supports the roll (26) of towel product for dispensing through the slot (34).
