The beverage can handle also includes a second arm that is slideably coupled to the first arm and extendable from a storage position to an extended position relative to the first end of the first arm. The second arm has a first end and a second end. The first end includes a groove for releasably mating with a second lip of the beverage can when in the extended position. The groove is shaped for inhibiting slippage of the second lip of the beverage can out of the groove when the second arm is in the extended position.

The base is engaged with can top end and the lid is rotatable to seal the can. A four-pack of cans is secured together by a sealing member having an annular ring defining an aperture and four radial arms. Each base is engaged with two adjacent arms. A six-pack of can is secured together by a sealing member having a central strip with an annular ring at each end and a plurality of tabs extending between adjacent bases. Each annular ring defines an aperture therein. The annular rings are rotated relative to the strip to bring the apertures into alignment. A user will insert one or more fingers into the aperture in the four-pack or the aligned apertures in the six-pack to lift and carry the same.

The bottle holder comprises a single piece of cardboard shaped to form a generally rectangular body part having: A first slot in a first side adjacent a first end, to define a tab extending along part of the first end, A second slot in a second side opposite the first side, adjacent a second end opposite the first end, to define a tab extending along part of the second end in the opposite direction to the first tab, The lengths of the first and second slots are designed so that they can be engaged with each other to hold the generally rectangular part in a generally cylindrical form with the ends brought together to overlap each other. A shoulder section fits over the shoulders of the bottle and is connected to the top of a collar, which may be considered part of the lower section. The collar is connected to the top of a main body section, and a lower compartment is formed in the main body section and includes threads that will receive and secure the upper end of the shoulder section. The cap and the neck section may be stored in the shoulder section, and the shoulder section may be secured to the threads in the lower compartment of the main body section. In this configuration, the shoulder section forms a decorative pedestal for the apparatus when it is configured to hold the can. A closure is also provided that will fit the lower end of both the main body section and the shoulder section of the apparatus.
