摘要： Сущность заявляемой конструкции заключается в том, что двусторонний диван-кровать содержит основание, сиденье, боковины, по меньшей мере, одну спинку, сопряженную с боковинами, причем спинка установлена над сиденьем так, что посадочные места расположены по обе стороны спинки, при этом боковины жестко скреплены с основанием, а сиденье установлено с возможностью выдвижения из-под спинки. A mattressseat (72) is folded in half, and rests on the retractable platform providing a cushion for the seat, and when extended with the mattress-seat unfolded into a flat position a bed is created. A back cushion (86) removably interfaces with the upholstered top (62) and mattress-seat to provide a cushion for lumbar support.

Pivot pins (112) are used to interconnect the links and a stop (117) is provided on each end of the link to restrict the upward flexing or movement of the joined links. The links are economically and easily manufactured thereby providing a commercially competitive sofa bed (10) without detrimental aspects associated with prior sofa bed structures.
