摘要： A case (1) for an article, for example an umbrella, comprises an elongate pouch (3) formed of flexible material having a top side (5), a bottom side (7) and opposed lateral sides (9, 11) between the top and bottom sides. The pouch has an interior chamber for receiving an article therein. The pouch has at the top side a snap-type clip (13) biased so as to be normally-closed to prevent access to the interior chamber from said end and arranged in use to be opened by user force exerted on opposite ends of the clip. There is also a slide fastener (17), e.g. a zipper, extending along one of the lateral sides, which, when opened allows, a further means of access to the interior chamber.

摘要： The present invention provides in some embodiments, the first for purpose designed, low cost, easy to transport, ergonomically correct, water transport backpack and storage device for the least developed countries of the world. The backpack includes a carrier bag and a food-safe liner configured to be disposed within the carrier bag. The carrier bag includes handles and straps to enable the user to carry the bag comfortably for long distances. The carrier bag and the food-safe liner also include wide-mouthed tops for filling the backpack with water and can be rolled down and secured with ties, in order to keep the backpack closed. The food- safe liner includes a spout for dispensing the water. The backpack also includes a flattened bottom for positioning the backpack on a flat surface for storage. The components of the water backpack can be provided as a kit for local manufacture to provide jobs.
